Hello,
I’ve been actively playing the RSCRevolution2 and wanted to share a suggestion that could help improve the overall gameplay experience and maintain long-term player activity. At the moment, the entire world is in an F2P state and member content has not yet been released, which I believe creates a good opportunity to introduce limited parts of P2P content into the F2P environment without breaking the classic balance or feel of the game.
In my opinion, it is very important that the map size remains unchanged and all activity stays within the current F2P area. Keeping the map compact ensures that players stay closer together, preventing the world from feeling empty or fragmented. One of the strengths of classic gameplay was constant player interaction in shared locations, and this would help preserve that.
At the same time, Wilderness could benefit from additional purpose and activity. Currently, it is quite large but underutilized. Introducing classic NPCs such as dragons, black demons, and other higher-level monsters that were historically used for money-making would give higher-level players meaningful goals. It would also restore the risk vs reward dynamic that was a core part of RSC.
I would also suggest adding the Fletching skill to F2P in a limited form. For example, allowing players to craft arrows and bows up to Yew level. This would add depth to the ranged skill and create a natural economy loop where logs are turned into bows and arrows for other players to use. In line with this, adding trees up to Yew level and placing them in a dedicated F2P area would help create active hotspots and encourage player interaction.
Additionally, introducing a duel system would bring significant value. The ability to fight each other with stakes was an important part of the classic experience and would provide an alternative PvP option outside of the wilderness. This would help keep the game engaging for players who prefer controlled PvP scenarios.
Overall, the goal of this suggestion is not to turn the server into a P2P environment, but rather to introduce meaningful progression and activities that keep players engaged while preserving the classic identity of the game. If implemented in a balanced and thoughtful way, I believe these changes would significantly improve player retention and the long-term health of the server.
