Easter Rares Dropped Without Announcement

Just wanted to express how lame and disappointing that was to release rares without community input nor a global event announcement.

Rares and staking have been the core of RSC gameplay and honestly has kept the scene going, so for rares to be introduced in this manner sucked and introduced friction when there could have been a better approach and the fact that the community didn't get an input is a let down. Most of the players would not have mind waiting for a proper release.

Hey @13 Fangs,

Thanks for the feedback, I am sorry that our release of the item disappointed you.

Copying here my response I made on the news post to make sure you don't miss it:

A few things I want to address directly.

What we could have done better: The notice period was short. For future holiday events, we'll give more advance warning so players in different time zones and with different schedules have a chance to participate. That's a reasonable expectation and we'll hold ourselves to it going forward.

On missing out: With any timed drop event, someone will always miss it, and that's partly what makes them meaningful. We can't physically run events at every hour to cover every time zone. Naturally, some disappointment is inevitable. If everyone got one easily, they wouldn't be special. That's not dismissiveness, it's just the reality of how these events work.

The turnout was actually strong, which tells us the community is engaged. The fix we're committing to is better advance notice, not changing the nature of the event itself.

The server is one week old. We're going to make some mistakes in how we run things operationally. What matters is that we listen, adjust, and keep the core decisions held to a higher standard. This feedback helps us do that.

See you in-game.

We’re sorry for any disappointment—this was never our intention. We truly value the community’s feedback and will use it to improve future events.

To provide some clarity, here’s a timeline of what took place:

Friday 3rd:
Kleio mentioned that we would be running some form of Easter event over the weekend.

Saturday:
Some Easter eggs were randomly dropped at unspecified times in well-populated areas. The goal was to reward active players and recreate the excitement and spontaneity.

Easter Sunday:
At 10am, a news post was published, alongside announcements on Discord and in-game, detailing the scheduled drop times in Edgeville (followed immediately by Castle wild drops) for later that evening.

First drop: 5pm — peaked at 450+ players online
Second drop: 7pm — similar turnout
Third drop: 9pm -- I believe we hit 500+ this time

All three events saw strong participation, and we’re glad so many players were able to take part.

That said, as an international server, we understand that not everyone will be able to attend every event or see every announcement. We recognize this challenge and will continue working on ways to make events more accessible for everyone

I taked a part of these 3 events and I can tell that there are not that much ingame.
If it was 1 time drop, then price will rise alot.

Terror did say some numbers during the events so one can use that to estimate the total number
